The White Crested can easily be identified by its white crest, chin, neck and nape. This is a particularly striking Turaco, which is uncommon in UK collections. In the wild, the preferred habitats of the White Crested Turaco include riverine forestry from 100 to 2200m.This species feeds on fruits, seeds, leaves and flowers, as well as the occasional arthropod.
